School Materials for Morrumbala CDC - Image Recently the Child Development Centre (CDC) in Morrumbala, Mozambique had a special occasion to celebrate. 32 children of the centre are now able to attend school for the next year as they have received the required school uniforms and other necessary school materials.

The uniforms were handed over on Easter Sunday. Many people from the church and the community attended the special service, were the school uniforms were presented to the children. Caregivers and other members were touched to see how the children had a glimpse of hope and tears of joy in their eyes, being able to attend the next school year. Many expressed their gratitude for the work and impact the CDC in Morrumbala has in its respective community. It was a wonderful and memorable event for all who attended.

The Child Development in Morrumbala serves a community of over 20.000 children, of which nearly 10.000 children are orphans. Currently there are 52 children attending the Child Development programme at our centre. There they find a safe haven, care, school support, encouragement and love.
